Nicht immer ist es möglich, jeden Tag alle neuen Apps auf der Startseite vorzustellen. Die Gründe können sehr unterschiedlich sein. Auf der einen Seite sind es reine Kapazitätsfragen, auf der anderen Seite sind es mitunter Apps, die mir oder meinen Team-Kollegen nach eigenen Versuchen noch nicht für die Startseite vorstellenswert erscheinen oder für deren Vorstellung mir schlichtweg die nötigen Kenntnisse fehlen.

So konnte es in der Vergangenheit durchaus vorkommen, dass bestimmte und zum Teil sicherlich auch durchaus lohnenswerte Apps hier bei MeeGo.de überhaupt (noch) nicht vorgestellt wurden.

Um für solche Fälle quasi eine Art Brücke zu bauen, habe ich mich entschieden, künftig in diesem Thread auch die Apps zumindest ansatzweise zu nennen, die aktuell in die Programmkataloge oder in den Ovi Store aufgenommen wurden, aber denen noch kein Artikel auf der Startseite gewidmet wurde.

Wenn zu den hier in diesem Thread genannten Apps später doch Artikel auf der Startseite erscheinen, werde ich das hier nicht vermerken. An erster Stelle sollte deshalb immer die Suche in unserer Apps-Übersicht oder auch im Tumleh's "Archiv" stehen.

Im Interesse einer bestmöglichen Übersicht dieses Threads möchte ich alle Userinnen und User bitten, ihre Diskussionen zu den hier aufgeführten Apps entweder einem schon bestehenden Thread zuzuordnen oder bei Bedarf einen neuen zu eröffnen.

Anregungen zur Gestaltung dieses Threads nehme ich aber selbstverständlich jederzeit gern entgegen; bitte schreibt mir dazu einfach eine PM.

Ich werde mich bemühen, möglichst täglich alle für diesen Thread infrage kommenden Apps aufzuführen; eine Gewähr für Vollständigkeit übernehme ich aber nicht. Auch werde ich grundsätzlich solche Apps unerwähnt lassen, die für uns in aller Regel nicht von Belang sein dürften wie z.B. Apps, die eine japanische Vokabelsammlung oder einen Zugang zu einem venezolanischen Mobilfunkanbieter zum Inhalt haben.

Meine Tagesbeiträge in diesem Thread werde ich erforderlichenfalls auch aktuell editieren. Die Veröffentlichung erfolgt immer mit Rückblick auf den vorangegangenen bzw. den zurückliegenden Tag.

Hier vermisse ich noch die Unterstützung auch anderer gängiger indo-europäischer Sprachen außer der englischen Sprache. Weitere bisher unterstützte Sprachen: Chinesisch, Koreanisch, Japanisch. Die App läuft quasi in einer Testphase, doch nicht einmal einfache Wörter der englischen Sprache lassen sich nach dem Fotografieren in eine der oben genannten Sprachen übersetzen. Die App kann lediglich veranschaulichen, wie sie mal funktionieren könnte. Die Idee ist gut, aber nicht neu. Fürs OS Symbian gibt es eine vergleichbare App schon länger.
